Ham and Turkey Pita Pocket Sandwich

A basic ham and turkey pita pocket sandwich is a quick and easy lunch to fix. The pita pocket sandwich can be made while you are at home during lunch or it can be easily fixed quickly in the morning to bring for lunch at work. The juice to go along with it makes for a cure of a little sweet tooth at after eating your sandwich.

Step 1: Warm a full pita pocket for about 15 seconds or until it is soft enough to cut in half and open up. If you already have a half pita pocket out of the bag, you are already one step ahead.

Step 2: Separate and tear the 1/2 pita pocket into half to make “sandwich bread”

Step 3: Fold and place your 6 slices of ham and turkey on your pita pocket sides

300 calorie Pizza- And you can eat the WHOLE THING

Ingredients

1 White Pita Pocket – 180 Calories
1/8 Cup Pizza Sauce – 15 Calories
1/3 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese – 80 Calories
1 Slice of Smoked Ham – 15 Calories
Mushroom – 5 Calories
Green Peppers – 5 Calories
Sliced/chopped veggies of your choice – Calories Vary

Total Calorie = 300

Directions

Preheat oven or toaster oven to 375 degrees
Spread sauce over the pita
Add cheese 1 then layer the sliced or chopped vegetables.
Top with remaining 1/2 ounce of cheese
Bake for about 10 minutes
Broil for a minute or two to brown top.

Eat the WHOLE thing and don’t feel guilty.
